BOX ELDER, SD : A 76-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash in Box Elder on May, Saturday, 13th 2017

A 76-year-old man died Friday evening in a motorcycle crash in Box Elder, according to authorities.

A release from the South Dakota Highway Patrol says the single-vehicle crash happened at 5:38 p.m. when the driver of a Harley-Davidson FLD motorcycle was northbound on Elk Vale Road. When he turned east on the Interstate 90 Exit 61 on-ramp, the driver failed to negotiate the curve and struck the curb.
