New Castle, DE : Victim in fiery Tybouts Corner fatal crash at Tybouts Corner in New Castle on Tuesday, 10th July 2018

The fatal victim in Tuesday's fiery motor vehicle crash at Tybouts Corner in New Castle was identified by Delaware State Police on Wednesday evening.

Troopers reported that 53-year-old Eugene Downward, of Townsend, had been stopped in his 2003 Dodge Neon, at a traffic signal on U.S Route 13 at Red Lion Road, when it was struck from behind by a box truck.
