McComb, MS : Man accused of trying to stage accident on Monday, January 9th 2017

A Liberty man faces felony drug and assault charges after he allegedly tried to stage a car accident by attempting to get another motorist to rear-end her last week.

Amite County Sheriff Tim Wroten said Marcus Huff, 34, has been charged with felony fleeing, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of Ecstasy with intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine. He remained in jail in lieu of posting $75,000 cash bond.
