Two men were seriously injured in a four-wheeler accident early Sunday morning.
The accident happened about 1 a.m. on Antone Mountain Road in the town of Hadley.
Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies found that a Polaris utility vehicle with two occupants had left the roadway and hit a utility pole, according to a news release.
The driver, 26-year-old Kevin Mitchell of Lake Luzerne, was transported to Saratoga Hospital and later transferred to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.
The passenger, whose name was not released by police, was taken by helicopter to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.
Mitchell was charged with a misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated and was issued several traffic tickets.
The Sheriff’s Office collision reconstruction unit responded to the scene, as well as Jessup's Landing EMS and the Porter Corners Fire Department.
The investigation is ongoing at this time, police said.
