TUCSON, AZ : Bicyclist killed in crash on 34th and Wilmot on Sunday, 21st January 2024

A bicyclist was killed in a crash on 34th and Wilmot late Sunday, Jan. 21.

The Tucson Police Department said Melissa Marie King, 43, was riding south on northbound Wilmot when she was hit.

The TPD said a vehicle saw King and started braking when a second vehicle, a Toyota Avalon, did the same thing.

The Toyota also moved left to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of them, just as King was turning right to avoid that first vehicle.
