Pocatello,ID : One hurt in alleged DUI crash on Yellowstone Avenue on August, Friday 11th 2017

The Pocatello Police Department said one person was injured Friday in a two-vehicle crash involving an intoxicated driver.

Antonio Jeovonni Galvin, 20, has been arrested and charged with aggravated DUI.


The crash occurred in the 1200 block of Yellowstone Avenue at approximately 11:30 a.m. Friday.

According to Pocatello police, Galvin was traveling southbound on Yellowstone Avenue when he struck another vehicle and caused the driver to crash into a sign post.

Authorities did not release the identity of the driver of the vehicle that was struck by Galvan. However, they did say that the driver suffered injuries in the crash and was transported to an area hospital.

Galvan has been booked into the Bannock County jail. A preliminary hearing in the case has been scheduled at the Bannock County Courthouse on Aug. 28 at 2:30 p.m.
