A Woman and two children were killed and a man and four children were hurt in a rollover crash on Interstate 75 in Pembroke Pines, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened about 10:15 p.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes of I-75 when the car with eight people went out of control and swerved left into the median which is a construction zone, the FHP said.
The car rolled over several times, ejecting six or seven of the passengers, Sgt. Mark Wysocky said.
The woman who died was identified as the 30-year-old mother of all six children in the 2001 Buick LeSabre and her 8-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter also died at the scene, troopers said.
