WORTHINGTON, MA : Florence man dies in a crash on Route 112 in Worthington on Friday, 31st August 2018

A 29-year-old Florence man died in a single-vehicle crash Friday night on Route 112 in Worthington, state police said.
Troopers from the Russell barracks responded to the crash at 112 Goss Hill Road at about 8:45 p.m. Police said the man, who is not being identified until his family is notified, lost control of the 2018 Ford F-350 truck while driving north on Route 112.
He crashed through a guard rail just before the route’s intersection with Goss Hill Road, police said in a press release. The man was thrown from the vehicle and landed in the nearby Little River. He died at the scene, police said.
