Sioux Falls, SD : Two people are dead following a two-vehicle crash on Friday night October 17th 2014

Two people are dead following a two-vehicle crash in eastern South Dakota. Sioux Falls Police Sgt. Jon Lohr says the pair was traveling in a 1994 Geo Metro around 7:20 p.m. Friday. The vehicle entered an intersection and was struck on the passenger's side by a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. Lohr says the two occupants of the Geo were pronounced dead at the scene. He says neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash. The victims have not been publicly identified. Authorities say the Sonata was occupied by two people.
