York, NE : One injured in interchange accident on Wednesday, June 7, 2017

One person was transported to York General Hospital by ambulance Wednesday morning, shortly before 11:30 a.m., after a two-vehicle accident at the interchange.

The York Fire Department and York Police Department responded to the north side of the Highway 81/Interstate 80 interchange where a semi pulling farm tractor on a trailer collided with a four-door car.

A man was taken by ambulance with injuries that appeared to be not life threatening.Because investigators were busy at the scene, no further information was immediately available. Traffic control assistance was provided by the York County Sheriff's Department.
