Authorities say they’re searching for the driver of a pickup truck they believe struck and killed a pedestrian in Livingston Parish.
The Advocate reports that 36-year-old Corey Pepples of Denham Springs was killed in the collision shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities said the driver immediately fled the scene.
They’re searching for a 1997 to 2002 Ford pickup with damage to its left side. Trooper First Class Bryan Lee said the vehicle is also missing driver’s side mirror
