Vevay Township, MI : 3 injured in crash on U.S. 127 near Mason on Monday, 20th January, 2020

Police are hoping to find more witnesses to a crash that injured three drivers Monday evening on U.S. 127.The crash happened about 5 p.m. when a northbound vehicle driven by a 34-year-old Holt man crossed the median near Barnes Road, near Mason, and collided with two southbound vehicles, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office said.

The southbound vehicles were driven by a 54-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man, both from the Jackson area, officials said.

Two of the drivers suffered serious injuries, while the other had minor injuries, Capt. Greg Harris said.

The southbound lanes were closed between Barnes and Kipp roads while police investigated the crash.
