Harmon County, OK : Two Boys Injured In ATV Wreck Near Hollis on Monday afternoon, June 13, 2016

Two 15-year-old boys were flown to an Oklahoma City hospital for treatment of injuries from a Monday afternoon ATV wreck 2 miles west of Hollis in Harmon County.

One teen, from Fayetteville, Ark., was driving a Polaris ATV west on Harmon County Road 1530 when he went off the paved roadway to the left, overcorrected and entered a broad slide and rolled 1-time shortly after 3 p.m., Trooper Shane Newell reported. The driver and his teen passenger were both thrown. Neither was wearing a helmet.

Neither of the teens were identified by the OHP. Both were taken to Harmon County Memorial Hospital before being flown to OU Medical Center, Newell stated. The driver as admitted in stable condition with arm injuries. The passenger, from Bethany, was admitted in stable condition with external head and internal trunk injuries.
