KOKOMO, IN : School bus in minor crash on Monday, January 9th 2017

A Kokomo Center Schools school bus struck a postal truck while the driver was dropping off children, according to a crash report obtained by the Tribune on Monday.

Damage in the incident was minimal, costing less than $1,000, according to a Kokomo Police Department crash report. One student was treated by responders from Community Howard Regional Health and was released on the scene. No further injuries were reported.

The bus struck the parked mail truck on the rear left side after making a left turn from Walnut Creek Apartments located on Colter Drive.
