Baltimore, MD : Police officer is in critical condition after getting into an off-duty crash on early Monday morning September 10th 2014
A Baltimore Police officer remains in critical condition after getting into an off-duty crash in Carroll County earlier this week, state police said.
The officer, Steven Nicholas Rosier, 29, was driving a personal vehicle near the intersection of MD-140 and Old Westminster Pike in Finksburg at about 1:40 a.m. Monday, when he rear-ended a construction truck, state police said.
The Carroll County Times reported that Rosier, the only person injured in the crash, was flown to Shock Trauma, where officials said Wednesday that he was listed in critical condition.
Maryland State Police Sgt. Marc Black said there was no indication that alcohol was a factor, but a cause was not known.
The Baltimore Police Department referred questions to Maryland State Police. A police roster shows Rosier has been with the agency since 2009.
