Hanson, KY : Two injured in single vehicle collision on Jewel City Road on Monday, March 13, 2017

A woman and her two-year-old daughter were injured Monday in a single vehicle collision on Jewel City Road.

According to a Hopkins County Sheriff's Office news release, Maria McBride, of Newburgh was traveling west around a curve in the road when her 1996 Nissan went off the left side of the road. The vehicle went down a steep hill, turning end over end before coming to a rest.

Both McBride and her daughter were transported via Medical Center Ambulance Service to Baptist Health Madisonville for non-life threatening injuries.
