Orange County, FL : Man seriously injured by hit-and-run driver, hospitalized at ORMC Wednesday September 10th 2014
The daughter-in-law of a man seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Orange County said he suffered multiple injuries.
Henry Echevarria was walking along U.S. 192 near Sherbeth Road Wednesday night to walk his wife home from work when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver.
He is being treated at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Echevarria's daughter-in-law, Lisa Echevarria, said he suffered multiple fractures and is being monitored for brain bleeds.
His family said they're hoping a tip will lead troopers to the driver.
"Somebody did see a partial plate," said Lisa Echevarria. "They didn't see the accident but they did see a partial plate. They say it was a dark scion vehicle. If there is a vehicle like that, that has recent damage please let somebody know."
The Florida Highway Patrol has not commented on the incident. Those with information on the crash are urged to contact the Florida Highway Patrol.
