A 25-year-old Bonifay woman was killed early Thursday morning when the vehicle she was driving crashed into a tree.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, Kristin King was driving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra westbound on U.S. Highway 90 near the intersection with Boswell Road in Holmes County around 5:15 a.m. when she left the road and drove onto the south grass shoulder and into the tree line.
The front of the vehicle struck a large tree and came to rest facing west, the report said.
