Ypsilanti , MI : Motorist arrested in Ypsilanti crash that killed bicyclist on Sunday , July 12 ,2015

A 51-year-old Ypsilanti Township man faces charges in a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist dead.

The Ann Arbor News reports Sunday that 39-year-old Charles McGuire was struck and killed Saturday evening in Ypsilanti.

Police Lt. Deric Gress said investigators believe McGuire of Ypsilanti Township was hit as he was attempting to turn onto a street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told police they saw a Ford Escape driven from the accident site. The driver was arrested later.
