Two people were injured in a crash east of Minatare Wednesday morning.
A man and woman were injured in the crash involving a semi truck and a pickup truck pulling a camper trailer. The crash occurred after 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning on Highway 26 just outside of Minatare.
Nebraska State Patrol Sgt. Chris Baer said drivers of both vehicles were traveling east when the crash occurred. Michael Sullivan, 67, of Bridgewater, Connecticut, had been attempting to turn west into a private driveway when his vehicle was struck by a semi, driven by Jesus Garza, 20, of Alliance.
Sullivan was transported via AirLink and the one passenger of the pickup, Sullivan’s wife, was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
Baer said Garza was uninjured.
