NORTH CHARLESTON, SC : Coroner IDs 2 killed in early-morning crash on Saturday, 24th February 2024

The Dorchester County Coroner says a driver and his passenger died in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
Alan Aguilar, 18, of Hanahan; and Kathering Garcia-Nativi, 20, of North Charleston died in the crash, Coroner Paul Brouthers said.

Authorities said the crash happened at approximately 12:50 a.m. Saturday on Altamaha Drive in North Charleston. Brouthers said Aguilar lost control of the vehicle he was driving and struck a tree.
The coroner pronounced both victims dead at the scene at approximately 2:15 a.m. Saturday.
