Clark County, WI : 74-year-old woman killed in a two vehicle crash on Highway 13 near Center Road in the Township of Mayville on Sunday morning, March 29, 2015

One person is dead after a two car crash in Clark County Sunday morning. That's according to the Clark County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff's officials say the crash happened just after 9:00 a.m. on Highway 13 and Center Road in the Township of Mayville.

According to a press release, investigators believe a vehicle going northbound on Highway 13 lost control, spun on the road and struck a southbound vehicle.

Authorities say the 74-year-old driver of the northbound vehicle was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

A juvenile passenger in the northbound vehicle and both the driver and the passenger of the other vehicle involved were taken to local hospitals with unknown injuries.

Officials say icy roads may be a contributing factor.

The investigation is ongoing.
