Burlington, VT : Multiple injuries in two traffic accidents on West Burlington Friday May 13th, 2016
Two traffic accidents just a few hours apart kept emergency personal hopping in Burlington and West Burlington Friday, but no fatalities were reported.
The first accident occurred about 4 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Mount Pleasant Street (old U.S. 34) and Iowa 406 in West Burlington, when a 2003 silver Ford Escape driven by Valerie Fesler of Danville rear-ended a 2001 Buick LeSabre driven by Violete Ross of Mount Pleasant. Both vehicles were heading east on Mount Pleasant Street. Ross was rear-ended by Fesler while waiting at the intersection’s traffic light. The light just had turned from red to green.
