Mason City,IA : Mason City vehicle collision injures three on October, Saturday 14th 2017
Emergency responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision north of Mason City Saturday afternoon.
At 3:17 p.m., the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle accident at Orchid Avenue and 300th St.
A 2011 Ford Ranger driven by Matthew Ryan Arthur, 17, of Nora Springs, was southbound on Highway 65 when a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Karyl Marie O'Connor, 54, of Toeterville, pulled into the path of Arthur's Ranger, according to a report from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Office.
O'Connor and a passenger, Patrick Michael O'Connor, 53, of St. Ansgar, were transported to Mercy-North Iowa by Mason City Fire Medics.
Arthur was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle.
The sheriff's department was also assisted by the Mason City Police Department. The accident remains under investigation.
