Allen County, IN : Couple injured in truck-SUV crash Indiana 101 on Thursday January 14 2016.

A Van Wert, Ohio, couple was injured Thursday in a truck-SUV crash at U.S. 30 and Indiana 101 in southeast Allen County, Indiana State Police said today.
Kirby Brown, 66, and his passenger, Jody Brown, 63, were taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center, state police at Fort Wayne said in a statement.
At about 10:20 a.m., police said, a truck driven by Terry Hendricks, 39, of Fort Wayne was stopped at a stop sign on Indiana 101. They said Hendricks pulled his vehicle into the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 and into the path of the Browns' SUV.
Kirby Brown was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be removed, police said. They said Hendricks was cited for failing to yield the right of way at a through highway.
The Allen County sheriff's department, Monroeville Fire Department and EMS and the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority assisted at the scene.
