HURON COUNTY, MI : 57-year-old man critically injured in Huron Co. crash on Tuesday, 4h June 2024

A 57-year-old man was critically injured in a two vehicle crash in Huron County on Tuesday morning, June 4.

The Huron County Sheriff’s office and several other emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Bad Axe and Wadsworth Roads in Bingham Township for a report of a two vehicle crash on Tuesday at 6:33 a.m.

The sheriff’s office said the preliminary investigation indicates a 2015 Chrysler van - driven by a 30-year-old Harbor Beach woman - was heading westbound on Wadsworth Road when it failed to stop at the stop sign.

The failure to stop resulted in the Chrysler hitting a 2006 Ford Mustang - driven by a 57-year-old Kinde man - who was heading southbound on Bad Axe Road, the sheriff’s office said. The man was critically injured.
