North Bend, WA : A motorcyclist was killed in a crash at Interstate 90 on Wednesday, 31st August, 2016
The Washington State Patrol says the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 have been closed near Snoqualmie Pass due to a fatal motorcycle crash.
State troopers responded to the scene about five miles west of the summit Wednesday afternoon for a serious collision.
KOMO-TV reports (http://goo.gl/6Yvo3F) a motorcyclist was found dead at the scene. No further details were immediately available.
Westbound I-90 was closed at milepost 52 and traffic was being detoured via the off and on ramps at milepost 47 near Denny Creek. The detour was causing a four-mile backup and adding up to 45 minutes of travel time.
The freeway is expected to reopen around 4 p.m.
