Odessa, TX : Man dies in rollover collision in West Odessa on Friday, June 23, 2017

A man was killed Friday when his pickup flipped over, threw him out and landed on top of him in West Odessa, a fire official said.
The single-vehicle fatal collision occurred shortly before 9:45 p.m. Firefighters and Ector County Sheriff’s deputies rushed to West 16th Street and Knox Avenue where the rollover crash occurred, Odessa Fire Battalion Chief Bobby White said.
The driver, who White said was not wearing a seat belt, was pinned underneath his vehicle. The fatal wreck was the second consecutive one to occur this week. On Thursday a fiery two-vehicle wreck occurred on Yukon Road where three people died and four others were hurt.
It was not known how Friday’s collision occurred, or who the driver was, but the sheriff’s office and the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating it, White said.
