WAYNESBORO, PA : Six taken to hospital after crash at 6640 Buchanan Trail East on Tuesday, 21st January, 2020

Six people were taken to a hospital Monday after a two-vehicle crash on Buchanan Trail East near the Dawg House in Waynesboro.

Officers were dispatched for a vehicle crash at 6640 Buchanan Trail East at about 5:50 p.m., according to the Washington Township Police Department.

Police said a 2015 Ford van driven by Kimberly Travis, 53, of Waynesboro was traveling west on Buchanan Trail East behind a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jeffrey Green, 61, of Waynesboro.

Green’s Silverado came to a stop to make a left turn when the van driven by Travis didn’t stop and struck the rear of the truck, police said.
