Pushmataha County, OK : Clayton woman dies in Pushmataha County crash on U.S. 271, 5 miles north of Snow on Tuesday, 31st July 2018

A Clayton woman died Tuesday in a Pushmataha County crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Lacy Stamps, 29, was pronounced dead at a hospital in Antlers following an 11:22 a.m. crash on U.S. 271, 5 miles north of Snow, the patrol reported.

Stamps was driving a car south on U.S. 271 when she went off the roadway and the car overturned and hit a tree. An 8-year-old boy of Clayton and a 12-year-old girl, both from Clayton, were taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City to be treated for injuries.

Stamps did not use a seat belt. The 8-year-old boy wore a seat belt. The patrol did not report whether the 12-year-old girl wore a seat belt.
