Chatfield, MN : No serious injuries in crash near Chatfield on Saturday, October 29, 2016
Three people sustained minor injuries after the car they were in left the road and crash Saturday, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
Greysen Higbe-Harrah, 16, was driving north about 2:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 52, north of Olmsted County Road 7 when the vehicle "drifted to the right shoulder," the report says, then "vaulted into a ditch."
Higbe-Harrah and two passengers in the car, Sheila R. Higbe, 51, and Leah L. Higbe, 47, were taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus with injuries that were described as not life-threatening. None were listed as patients there Sunday, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
The three occupants, all of Whalan, had their seat belts fastened, the report says.
Members of the Chatfield Police Department and Olmsted County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
