SKOWHEGAN, ME : 1 killed in head-on crash on in Skowhegan on Route 2 near the Dudley Corner School House on Tuesday, 28th May 2019

One person was killed Tuesday in a head-on crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer in Skowhegan.

Police said the crash was reported at about 1:30 p.m. on Route 2 near the Dudley Corner School House.The car crossed the centerline and hit the truck, police said.

The driver of the car died at the scene. No one else was in the car, according to police.

The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.
