Charlotte, NC : Woman was dies after car crash on October 26th 2014.

A woman has died after a traffic accident on the 1600 block of North Wendover Road. Around 10:47 a.m. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to a call about a car that had run off the road and hit a tree. When officers arrived on the scene they found Benita Diane Kelly seating in the driver's seat unresponsive. Medic took Ms. Kelly to Carolinas Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 11:46 a.m. Police say Kelly was driving her 2002 Pontiac Grand Am when she crossed the raised concrete median ran off the road and hit a tree.
