FRANKLIN, IN : 1 dead after multi-vehicle crash on I-65 on Saturday, 26th September, 2020

Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left one person dead and several others injured Saturday.

The crash happened just before noon on southbound I-65 by State Road 44. The Indiana State Police says three vehicles and a semi were involved in the crash, but the semi driver failed to remail at the scene.

One person died at the scene. Several other peopel were transported to area hospitals.

Traffic has reopened as of the time of this report.
