Billings ,MT : 19-year-old Glendive woman killed after Single Vehicle Crash near mile marker 222 on Montana Highway 200 on Wednesday ,May 20th 2015
A 19-year-old Glendive woman died in a single-vehicle crash west of Glendive early Wednesday.
The woman's name has not been released pending notification of her family, said assistant coroner Tyler Silha.
The crash happened at about 5 a.m. near mile marker 222 on Montana Highway 200, and the driver died at the scene of the accident, Sgt. James Hunter of the Montana Highway Patrol said.
The woman was the only person in the vehicle and was ejected from the Ford F-150 after she hit a deer, drove off the right side of the roadway and rolled the truck, Hunter said.
The driver did not appear to be wearing a seat belt. Alcohol and speed are being investigated as they are in every fatal car accident, Hunter said.
“At this point, there’s nothing to suggest either, but that’s still under investigation,” he said.
The driver of another vehicle witnessed the crash, Hunter said.
