A man was killed after his SUV crashed into a pole

The crash happened Monday morning at U.S. Highway 1 and Southwest 136th Street.

Sky 10 was over the intersection about 6:30 a.m. as police and fire rescue blocked off the southbound lanes of U.S. 1. The intersection was opened about an hour later.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
