Colorado Springs, CO : Motorcyclist died in a crash early Saturday morning on August 2nd 2014.

A motorcyclist died in a crash early Saturday morning at the intersection of Galley and Chelton roads. Colorado Springs police said they found the crash, involving a motorcycle and a car, around 1:42 a.m. Saturday. Gazette news partner KKTV reported the motorcyclist collided with a private security vehicle. Police said the motorcyclists died as a result of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, KKTV reported. The intersection was closed for several hours but was reopened later in the morning.
