Albany, NY : A tractor-trailer driver was killed in Montgomery County on May, Wednesday, 17th 2017

A tractor-trailer driver was killed on the state Thruway in Montgomery County on Wednesday afternoon, State Police said.
The crash happened sometime before 4:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes in the town of Root, between the Fonda and Canajoharie interchanges. No other vehicles were involved, troopers said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is currently under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available, according to State Police.
