Detroit, MI : A motorcyclist and his passenger, both 22, died on Sunday, June 11, 2017
A motorcyclist and his passenger, both 22, died early Sunday when their bike hit a pickup truck, according to Dearborn police.
According to police, a Ford F-150 left the Ford Drive In at about 1 a.m. and as it entered Ford Road was struck by the motorcycle.
Police said Muhammed Al-Dairawi of Dearborn Heights was pronounced dead at the scene. Heba Bazzi, 22, was a passenger on the motorcycle and was transported to an area hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
Police said neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to be a factor in the crash, but the incident is under investigation.
The motorists in the F-150, from Belleville, weren’t injured.
