Authorities say at least three people have died after a seven-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 in Tucson.
According to Arizona Department of Public Safety investigators at the scene, a semi-truck hit another vehicle from behind and caused a chain reaction accident around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
DPS spokesman Quentin Mehr says one person was pronounced dead at the scene and two others died after being transported from the scene.
Authorities say the crash on westbound I-10 at Rauthrauff Road involved seven vehicles, including two trucks and five passenger vehicles.
Rescue crews removed at least one motorist trapped in wreckage.
Authorities say four people escaped with no injuries.
