RICHMOND, VA : 84-year-old man fatally injured in Richmond crash on Route 41 on Wednesday, 24th July 2019

An 84-year-old man died at the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Route 41 late Wednesday afternoon, state police said.

The crash occurred about 4:20 p.m. at Dublin Road. A 78-year-old Richmond woman, behind the wheel of 2007 Forester, collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 19-year-old woman from Chatham, New York.

The 78-year-old was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The man who lost his life in the crash was her passenger.
