One man was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after a hit-and-run attempt ended with him crashed into a tree.
According to the Craighead County Sheriff’s Department, the driver of the truck hit another car while going around a curve on Highway 141.
He then ran off the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver said he was trying to get to the hospital where his wife was.
He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital to be evaluated.
