MASON CITY, IL : Clinton woman killed in crash near Mason City on April, Sunday 9th 2017

An 18-year-old Clinton woman has been killed in a single-car crash near Mason City.

Mason County Coroner Michael Hurley said Bailie Bryant was pronounced dead at 12:49 a.m. Sunday at the scene on Illinois 10 between Teheran and Mason City. Further details of the crash were not available.

An autopsy is pending and toxicology reports will be ordered, the coroner said.

According to her obituary, Bryant graduated from Clinton Christian Academy-Assembly of God in December. She was employed by Subway in Clinton, and was looking forward to registering for veterinary school in the near future.
