WEST PALM BEACH, FL : Woman, 75, killed in suburban West Palm crash on Tuesday, 21st January, 2020

A 75-year-old woman died Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash in suburban West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities identified the woman as Raphaela E. Martin of West Palm Beach. The crash occurred shortly after 9:40 a.m. near Okeechobee Boulevard and Vista Parkway.

Witnesses told sheriff’s investigators that Martin appeared to be unconscious as her 2013 Toyota went out of control and over the median to the westbound lanes from the eastbound.

The car continued over a sidewalk and into a drainage pond. Martin was treated at the scene and taken to Wellington Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
