BRYAN COUNTY, OK : Child passenger dies in UTV accident in Bryan County investigation ongoing on Saturday, 16th November 2024

Saturday afternoon, a fatal UTV accident occurred on public federal land in Bryan County, Oklahoma.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Thaworn Jackson, age 72, was driving a 2021 Coleman UTV with a 6-year-old child passenger.

The UTV was traveling northbound on a recreational trail when it struck an embankment and rolled partially.

The child passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
