Lansing, MI : Two teens and a Michigan man were injured on Sunday, July 16, 2017

Two teens and a Michigan man were injured Sunday evening when the cars they were in collided 1 mile north of Hutchinson.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Robert Allan Blodgett, 42, of Canton, Michigan, was in the northbound lane shortly before 6 p.m., waiting to turn his 2015 Ford station wagon left onto 210th Street, when he was struck from behind by a 1995 Buick LeSabre driven by an unidentified 17-year-old boy.

Blodgett, the Buick’s driver and one of the Buick’s two other occupants were injured. Airbags in the Buick were deployed and all three of the car’s occupants were using their seat belts.

Blodgett, who was also using his seat belt, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hutchinson Health Hospital.

The Buick driver was also taken to Hutchinson Health with injuries. The State Patrol did not indicate of the severity of his injuries.

A 15-year-old Buick passenger who was injured was not taken to the hospital. One other Buick passenger, a 17-year-old boy from Hector, was uninjured.

The State Patrol said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
