VIRGINIA BEACH, VA : 1 dead, another injured after vehicle accident in the 4800 block Providence Road near Newmarket Drive on Sunday, 3rd March 2019

A 22-year-old woman has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and other charges after a two-vehicle crash left one dead and injured other early Sunday morning.

Virginia Beach Police said the crash happened in the 4800 block Providence Road near Newmarket Drive around 3:30 a.m.

When police arrived to the scene, they found a Toyota sedan that had been involved. A woman inside the sedan had succumbed to her injuries at the scene, according to police.

That woman was later identified as Felicia N. Parrish of Virginia Beach, according to police.

Another woman in the sedan was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and remains in critical condition, according to police.

The driver of the sedan was also taken to a local hospital, but police say that victim was treated for minor injuries.
