AURORA, NE : A semi-trailer crash on Interstate 80 on Wednesday, January, 3rd 2018

A semi-trailer crash on Interstate 80 left thousands of potatoes on the roadway, shutting down eastbound traffic for hours.

At 11:54 a.m. Wednesday, the semi was heading east on I-80, approximately 2 miles east of Giltner. While passing under a bridge near mile marker 326, a vehicle cut the semi off. The semi moved onto the shoulder of the road and the top of the semi struck the bottom of the bridge.
