FLORENCE, SC : 72-year-old Florence man killed in NC kayaking accident on Saturday, 20th July 2024

The 72-year-old Florence man who died in a North Carolina kayaking incident over the weekend has been identified.

The victim was Ross Burris Fulcher, according to the public affairs director at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Mike Barber.

Fulcher was killed Saturday morning after launching from the beach near a boat ramp that was located east of the Cape Point Campground near Buxton.
