TUCSON, AZ : Motorcyclist dies after crash at Aviation and 22nd Street on Tuesday, 5th March 2024

The Tucson Police Department released new information about a deadly crash involving a motorcycle.

The crash happened about 8:00 a.m., March 5, on east Aviation Parkway and east 22nd Street.

TPD says a blue Yamaha motorcycle was heading east on Aviation Parkway when the driver tried to make a left turn onto the eastbound 22nd Street ramp when he was hit by a blue 2010 Toyota Corolla.

The motorcyclist, identified as 37-year-old Chirag Lilabhai Patel, was taken to the hospital where he later died.
